Enrichment help

Hi,
My guinea pigs seem to be uninterested in any enrichment. Sometimes if it involves food they will play with it but will often just get angry after a few minutes and give up.
Does anyone have any enrichment ideas?
I wonder if those dog lucky mats would work well for guinea pigs, especially in the summer for things like veggies?

Enrichment Ideas for Guinea Pigs

Generally we use things like snuffle mats to give their daily nuggets but I did see a video earlier this week of a banana squished in a lick mat for a guinea pig, you may want to try but not often as fruit should only be fed once a week.

I agree with what was said above, a big pile of hay is a great one. Some plain cardboard cut into funky shapes never goes amiss.
You may also want to look into willow toys, basically plain wood that pigs seem to love.

Yes I use paper bags filled with hay and a bit of forage - cardboard tubes filled with hay and cardboard boxes with lots of cut outs and …..filled with hay

I’ve done pea flakes in closed cardboard tubes which they seem to really like
