Emma Watson Quits Harry Potter Movies!

Anyone see this in the sunday newspapers? Emma Watson has refused to sign for the remaining 2 potter movies saying she is sick of being known as that girl from Harry Potter.

What do people think of that? I can't imagine the films with a different girl now.

Well she might be sick of being known as the girl from Harry Potter, but that's what made her famous so I think she should be grateful, finish the movies and perhaps try and do other stuff in between.

I agree. She is the girl from Harry Potter and she should be ecstatic about it. I think she made a commitment when she agreed to do the first one, and she's just being a spoiled brat.

I think, if she wants to leave, it's up to her. If any of us stay in a job we dont like we end up hating it. I agree her reasons are not exactally firm. As said, she is, and prob will always be, the girl from Harry Potter. It also said that her, Dan(Harry) and Rupert(Ron) dont even communicate when they've finished filming. Thats such a shame as a great friendship could've come from this.

The amount of money she earns with those movies, at her age, is an opportunity she wont get again for a long long time.

Anyway, on Mugglenet they say:

So the rumours are probably not true anyway.

What other director will want her if he/she knows she quits in a big role like that! she will regret it when (i dont actually no how old she is) she turns 18 nad her other cast member freinds are BILLIONARES and shes only a MILLIONARE! hehe, she is being spoiled and i no my sister is going to be upset though she is the SPITTING image of her (according to her friends :S) so if they wehere to have auditions abbey would be there in a blink shes got the acting training hehe she was in a soap! so she'd be made up if she could even audition for her part! but yeah totally agree shotting herself in booth feet! silly gilr!
