Your pig will likely be fine, they sometimes get into things they shouldn't, if you are worried and you are able to see a vet soon then I would just incase. Perhaps not as an emergency.

You could even phone your vet and tell them what happened, see what they think.
I do not use puppy pads, but I do understand they are toxic to pigs. But I do imagine there are quite a few people who have had a similar situation as they love to get into things they shouldn't and will hopefully be able to give you some extra advice soon.

That doesn’t look life a large amount so I’m sure she will be ok. Keep an eye on her today.

I remember once my boys were being very quiet while I was cleaning them out. It turns out the were both munching on the black bin bag. Naughty boys. They’d eating quite a bit. They were fine. I’ve also heard of piggies eating dust pans, Lino, wallpaper and skirting boards. You’d think us slaves never feed them.

Hi

Those little nibbles won't cause any problems.

Please be aware that it takes about a full day for anything to pass through the gut from one end to the other. Just keep a casual eye out but please do not worry.

Thank you for putting my mind a little more at ease! I get so stressed about them. I'm monitoring her for poops 🤞

Please try not to obsess. Poos tend to arrive in batches anyway and you are highly unlikely to see anything unusual in the poos.

As long as your piggy is eating, drinking and behaving as normal, there is nothing to worry about. ;)

We had to stop using disposable pee pads as our boar would not stop burrowing underneath the Vetbed to get to them. I dread to think how much he ate. He was perfectly fine, good advice given above on your next steps 🙂
