Hi. My Guinea pig has a bladder stone issue at the moment and is eating by herself but is losing a bit of weight every day so we are starting to add in some critical care. I normally use oxbow but have run out and had some Emeraid intensive care so I am using this until the oxbow arrives tomorrow. I opened the Emeraid pack Saturday night and have just realised it says it should be kept on the fridge once opened! She only had 10ml yesterday and 10ml today when I realised. She should have another 10ml tonight but I don’t want to make her ill as the powder hasn’t been refrigerated. Does anyone know the purpose of refrigerating the powder? Will she get sick from having had the powder not refrigerated? Or doesn’t it just reduce the efficacy? Thank you in advance.
