Elvis bath!

Some of you guys now i got Elvis neutered about 5 weeks ago ill be introducing him to Rosie soon (fingers crossed everything goes well) and was just wondering if i can give him a bath 5 weeks after surgery. Is it safe? is he all healed now?

The reason for the bath: He has not taken a bath in months which i know its ok for guinea pigs but when he got his surgery i had him in a small cage(recommended by the doctor) so he wont be moving around too much and he smells like pure urine i guess from laying around where he used the bathroom! when i pet him i have to run to the bathroom and wash my hands really well! lol so i want to give him a bath! his incision looks pretty good.

another question? around his bottom nipples after surgery i noticed they were black all around it, the doctor said is normal but its been 5 weeks and they are still that color. should i worried?

@Guanchy I'd try to give him a bath without getting his stitches wet. Like a sponge bath to freshen him up again.

One of my pigs has black around his nipples. It's just his skin colour there, could it be that?

You know it could be! he is very hairy and fluffy so you couldnt really see his stomach until they shaved the bottom half for the surgery!
