Hi
so I've recently moved 2 of my almost 7 year old guinea pigs inside. The plan was to have them stay inside from 5pm - 8am up until the warmer months. However I'm concerned they'll not cope well being moved to the outside and then back inside every day. Would this actually be a problem?
If so I'm worried they'll not be welcomed back into the herd with the younger 7 that are outside
(Although if it gets much colder the others will be moved indoors too)
keeping them outside is not really an option, not just because of the temperature but because they're not putting on weight, and because they're showing signs of arthritis. I really don't think they'd live much longer if they remained outside for most or all of the day.
so, is the temperature change from inside to outside then back inside something to worry about, or would they be ok?
