I was cleaning out the piggies earlier this evening, and as the grass had got a bit damp, decided to pop them in their ball pits on the patio instead - can't be to careful where URIs etc are concerned!

Anyways, I was cleaning away when I heard a rustling/chewing noise. Went to inspect the piggies and discovered Snickers and Leti had chewed a guinea pig size hole in the side of the ball pit and were about to make a break for grassy freedom!

So a warning to all those that use these, they are not entirely piggy proof!

My girls got duly told off and made to sit in a spare indoor cage for the next ten minutes while I finished their hutch.

Hee hee - mine are well-behaved in the ball pits - but give them a puppy pad and they're eating out the inner wadding before you can blink!

My OH and sister who has been visiting for the day thought it was hilarious, me wandering around the garden waggling my finger at the piggies...

I need it to stop blooming raining so they can get back on the grass! What good is a 100ft garden if it's all wet?!

I've got one of those...oops best keep an eye out.;)

My neighbours too think I'm mad, walking out to check what they're doing and talking to them in little baby voice..gonna have to stop that :x

100ft green grass...yum yum nom omm, need plenty of piggie to eat all of that drool

They're not piggy proof for me either, but for a different reason...
My new little Wills has realised if he puts in all his effort he can jump the side..
Wasn't fun grabbing him. I did the same and put him in a spare cage and told him off :p

Would that not be dangerous? When I had a puppy and used puppy pads, the back lining was plastic film. Therefore not food grade plastic film which is a whole different matter.
I couldn't trust mine on them unfortunately.
