Ecoegg For Fleeces

Hello, I was wondering if anyone used the unscented ecoegg thing to wash the guinea pig's fleeces with? I wanted to try it because it is quite cost effective for all of that washing, but didn't know if it was safe to use for piggies.

I've been wanting to get one of these too, mainly because my daughter has lots of allergies and sensitive skin and thought it may be better than washing powder. Would be great if it's okay for guinea fleeces too.
