I've been doing some extensive research into comfortable, absorbant but still good price beddings, and thus far I've been leaning toward Fitch. I've now been reading up on Eco pet bedding, I've seen the old review thread on here but wondered if anyone had any fresh views/opinions on it? It's cheaper then Fitch by about £10 so if it's good I'll probably buy it now!

I've used finacard which is similar. It's obviously not as soft as fitch but my boys have always seemed comfortable enough on it and I feel it has better odour control and absorbency.

Does the bale seem to last quite a time? As this is the main concern for me, having a 4x3 C&C I go through so much in a week :P

It does last a while, if you put a good layer or newspaper or even better puppy pads (b&m bargains are good) then you don't need to use loads of bedding. It obviously also helps if you have hay trays etc. so the main cage area stays cleaner.

I use finacard in my litter trays and my piggies love it, spend s lot of time lying in it.I have 5 litter trays and has lasted me about four weeks and still have enough for a couple of weeks.I change my litter trays every other day.You get 17 kilos for 14 quid but ecobale is cheaper, works out at 20 kilos, for 14.50.It expands when you get it out of the bag.
