Ebay tiny cages..

i hate it when i see people listing cages on ebay for "guineapigs" but they are like so tiny! it could be for a hamster!...

is it wise to approach the person? email them.

Terrible isn't it. My fat piggies would struggle to turn around in there. My cage isn't huge but it's a open cage and run so there's loads of room. X

i know it annoys me so much! ive emailed the person and told them to change the listing lol. i cant sit back and let someone buy it for a guineapig. x

I would use it as a hospital cage for one pig but that's all. My hamster lives in a bigger home than that!

This is a guinea pig indoor hutch not hamster - it is 30"wide x19"deep x18"high and the bars would be too far apart to keep a hamster in!

That's way too small. I know our cages aren't the biggest either, but big enough for two piggies to have a proper run in them. My bf just looked at the picture of the cage and said: "That's a prison!"

If you are on facebook, there is a group called Rabbit and Guinea pig welfare group trying to help Gumtree, Preloved animals (here's the link https://www.facebook.com/groups/298629216869816/) They have good contacts and template emails to send to people like this.
It disgusts me when people sell cages that are obviously too small!
