Rufus has been doing this for a while but was just wondering if anyone elses wee ones do it too?

He can have a dish full of Wagg yummies and fresh veggies, yet he nudges his bowl to the corner of his house and then rips up his newspapers and tries to eat it :^-

Is this boredom or a funny quirk? :{

Well he's not meant to eat it - so that's obviously why he is :)). It won't do him any harm I'm sure if mine had Newspaper in there cage they would eat it to, they eat everything else that they aren't meant to eat rolleyes.

I think it's a national piggy Quirk!

Cheeky, one our teenage boys pigs loves to rip up newspaper - he makes quite interesting patterns. But can't say he would leave veggies to rip up newspaper:) I give him clean paper bags scrunched up to rip and throw aroundrolleyes

All my piggies eat the newspaper and kitchen roll. They actually dig the megazorb out of the corners so they can get a good grip at the paper. At first I thought they were just playing and enoying shredding the paper, but I once saw Mimsi eat a length of newspaper as though it was a piece of straw. There must be some instinctive behaviour that makes them do this, but as far as i know it doesnt do any harm as newpapers are printed with non toxic ink....
