Eating newspaper !

Is it ok for Guinea pigs to chew the newspaper in their hutches ? mind seem to do it all the time !

its fine, some of my boys actually dig under the fleece and towels so they can munch on it!

Yep, its a favoutie pastime here too, amongst my guineas and bunnies.

Yes, mine do it too and it's never been a problem. Mine dig down to get to it.

It should be fine as long as they don't actually swallow loads! My bunny ripped up loads of newspaper everywhere, so now she doesn't get newspaper! Just fleece, but she doesn't pee on the fleece so it's ok

It's fine! Scrunched up newspaper (perhaps with something yummy at the core?) is a good toy! Newspaper hasn't been printed with poisonous ink for a good 20 years in Sweden and I think that goes for the UK too.
