They don’t normally do this but either Edward or Elizabeth or both of them has chewed and eaten some of their puppy pads 😞

Should I be concerned? What should I do?

My boys have both had a good munch on a puppy pad before, nothing to report. As VickiA says, just keep an eye on any back end activity but I wouldn't worry.

I don’t tend to use them as I find they all love chewing the blue plastic bit. I’m sure they’ll be fine x

You’re not alone Claire! Mine used to pull up the fleece to chew on them. Even when they had them in their hay tray they’d chew on them occasionally instead of eating hay 😒

I fold the edge of our puppy pads in so they don’t stick up and they have never noticed them!
Hopefully they will be okay, I’m sure piggies have eaten worse 😂

Mine did nibble the puppy pads a few times but they were OK... just keep an eye on them.. x

I changed to puppy pads as I was finding it hard to source newspapers but I may have to go back to using newspapers if they make chewing their puppy pads a regular thing 😞
We use newspapers instead. We are really lucky that a neighbour saves them for us and we only get the Sunday Times which has got thinner year by year. He gets the Daily Mail which is a lot of paper for the money 😆 I also used to get papers from the local Old Folks Home but since Covid I stopped as they were deterring visitors.

My old neighbour used to collect them for us from everyone on the street but I was struggling to get them when we moved house :( x

i use puppypads with disposable bedding, ensure there is no exposed pads,1 inch to 2 inch layer of bedding.i agree with the other posters just observe your piggies for the next 48 hours .
