Easy, free way to reconfigure a cage

I'm always looking for new ways to freshen up and rearrange my piggies cage to keep it fun for them. I took my Kavee 8x2 cage and split into two, then cut a tunnel sized hole in cage segment of each. I could them join them together with a plastic tunnel. Simple, and free!

I’m guessing this was just after cleaning out since it looks extremely tidy. Not a stray strand of hay or a poop in sight. Are they enjoying the change? How easy is it to clean the tunnel?

Looks like great fun, some very lucky piggies you have!

I doubt cleaning the tunnel will be much fun though , my boys love to sit in the same tunnel you have and it is a bother to clean!

Piggies love a tunnel. Easiest way to deep clean a tunnel is a soak in a bath for a couple of hours

Looks great! I had one of those tunnels and it was such a pain to clean, I chucked it out. The poop gets stuck in the ridges.

Yep this was just after a clean. I wouldn't dare post here without a freshen up first! know the pain of cleaning the tunnel- mine like to use it like a toilet. I have to concertina it like I'm playing an accordian...
