I need help!
As autumn was coming I stopped bringing Mash outside, so I stopped cleaning out his hutch.
Mash's Hutch is 2 floors with the bottom on the grass

As we are hoping to get a new animal, I want to clean the top out again. But.... The hay is infested in earwigs. This problem seems to have happened to many other people when I researched online but I couldn't find a solution. Help?

My hutch was infested with earwigs in the spring/summer with my piggies living in it. The hutch needs a thorough clean out with F10. Its the only way to get rid of them. The tiny brown dots are earwig eggs and F10 kills them. Has your new piggie been acclimatised to being outside? If not he/she will find it REALLY cold at night. Mine live outside permanently and they start to grow their winter fur end of Aug/beginning of September. Even so I still give them snugglesafes, snuggle sacks, snuggle tubes and LOADS and LOADS of hay to snuggle in.

I've only once had to make my piggie sleep outside of the house and I put many snuggle safes in as well. Thank you for the advice. I will try to find F10 online, if not I will ask my vet.

Can’t offer any advice earwig wise, but I need to hear about this new animal!
