Ear infection and meds

Hi, the vet put Cowboy on Tribrissen antibiotic and Meloxidyl for ear infection. She says to finish the the bottles. In your exoerience how many days of antibiotics is too much for the little guineas? And pain meds? I feel like thats a lot. I know I can call her and ask but a lot of times I get all the help I need here on this forum. Thank you

They can be on antibiotics and pain meds as long as is needed to cure the problem. Piggies can be on pain meds long term without problems.
What dosages have you been prescribed?
Give a probiotic while piggy is on antibiotics as it can help keep their tummy settled

Thank you so much. Will a general Petstore have a probiotic? 4cc of pain med and 7.5cc of Tribrissen.
