Ear Biting

Do's anyone have a pig the nibbles another pigs ear ?
My friend just reminded me of a pig that was always getting his ear nibbled. His name was Toby.
Toby would sit there and let his sow nibble his ear , and when it started to bleed, he would sit there blissfully whilst she lick ed the blood.I ended up in rubbing his ear with tee tree cream. The smell put her off, but spoiled Toby's fun.

Overgrooming can sometimes happen and it is tolerated by the recipient; thankfully it is usually pretty rare.

It is similar to barbering ending up with a completely bald patch and even blood; while this second case is rare and self-barbering from discomfort is the rule, it can happen.
