I have never left negative feed back on ebay but when a CD came the other day it was the wrong CD in the box. I said I would keep it anyway - couldn't be bothered to do anything else. Should I leave neutral feedback or bail out of feedback altogether?

Its a tricky one that.

If you leave a negative, then the seller will probably do the same to you out of spite! It happened to my husband, he sold a picture and the winner never paid despite many promised. This went on for ages, so in the end he left a negative feedback. So the twit, left one on his too! Its a bit unfair really!

If it were me, I would be tempted to leave a neutral or not do one at all.

I think you should put neutral.. that way it's not bad, so they shouldn't give you bad. Neutral shows that you aren't 100% happy with what you recieved, but it wasn't that bad. You could also write what was wrong (just a little note) for the other buyers reading the feedback.

ii put my gamecube up 4 sale, and they promised 2 pay, at the start of decmeber. thats 2 months i bveen waiting.

Contact them and say they have 24 hours to pay or you will be relisting it. Then, if they dont pay, re list it and leave negative feedback.

Give them the chance to replace it first :)

I've had things arrive broken and told seller only to find that they were more than happy to replace, no questions asked. Most people who sell on ebay are wonderful. Like all of us they are only human and some of them sell an awful lot, so mistakes will occaisionally be made.
Good luck Lucinda :)

Problem was I agreed to keep it anyway - wish i could send it back now, but I just couldn't be bothered at the time. He said he bought it in a charity shop, but I think he should have checked inside first!

I've got 100% feedback so am reluctant to leave bad feedback I brought an electric can opener that was seized up when it arrived that cant happen in the post so I sent email telling them and she said well it worked before it left here yeah right so I left leave later feedback until I make up my mind, its unfair when this happens and makes feedback a little bit pointless
