Hi,
I've recently started using vetbed and I'm sure I've read somewhere on here that it can be dried in a tumble dryer but on the wash instructions it says don't tumble dry. Soi was wondering if anyone here does use one ?

Well, if you want to care for the vetbed properly, you must follow the label instructions- otherwise, it may ruin it.

I don't tumble dry, but peg it on the line over the bath (after it's been in the washing machine), and I find it dries fairly quickly.

We use vet bed at the vets and we always tumble dry it just out of ease but i think it does make it seem a bit tatty after a while i don’t think it helps with the life of vet bed. I’d recommend just hanging it to dry instead.

Thanks everyone,
I've been drying it on an airer next to radiator but it does seem to take all day to dry thoroughly.

Hello,

We manufacture vetbed. We would not recommend tumble drying - but it dries very quickly as doglovinpiggylover says (that's a phrase I thought I would never say!)

If you need any more info on vet bed let us know! - http://www.petnhome.co.uk.

Thanks

Matt

If you've spun it well then it only takes an hour or two to dry especially if hung up somewhere warm...

In the summer ours hangs outside on the line, winter time and rainy days it is inside over the kitchen door or an airer but never struggled getting it to dry. Just make sure you give it a good spin and/or squeeze to get the most water out before hanging it up. The non-slip backed one does take a bit longer than the pain backed one to dry.

It air dries very quickly (which is what i do at home), but at work I'm used to tumble drying the stuff and it doesn't seem to harm it, we always have the original good quality stuff though.

Ps. dries quicker upside down if that makes sense? I hang mine on the radiator with the fluffy side down.
