drying off piggies

after a bit of reassurance please

so we bathed and treated the girls this evening with coconut and neem melt / shampoo combo in hopes it’ll help their flakey, aggravated skin they are experiencing at the moment. we finished around 7pm, dried the girls off as much as we could (towel) and put them back in their cage, not totally dry as it was a rather stressful experience for them, but definitely not sopping wet. was this okay to do i am concerned we should have persisted with the drying? i made sure the room is 21/22 degrees so nice and warm, they have obviously dried off a bit since 7 but fur is still wavy and they definitely aren’t completely dry yet. I'm concerned, could i have made them ill?

I'm not one of the experts but my boys had a bum bath a couple of days ago. They won't tolerate too much drying with towels or hairdryer, like you I made sure the house was nice and warm and they are fine. Hope this reassures you.

Neem is absolutely

The girls should be okay, the room was nice and warm. I use a hair drier once Brillo's as dry as I can get him with a towel. Drier on warm only and direct the air sideways rather than direct at piggy, keep moving hand between air and pig in case it gets hot. I use a snuggle safe for him afterwards unless the weather is really hot

thanks guys! i actually think it was a bit of the neem we was unable to wash off that was making my girls coats appear wet - nope just greasy!

definitely not! i was really worried but it didn’t even smell half as bad as people said!
