I heard you can use olive oil for dry skin how much and how do you put it on.

Yes you can use olive oil for dry skin.Just massage a tiny blob into the skin.Twice a day should be enough.

Another good thing to use is vaseline. Small blob twice daily and massage into the skin.

Afraid I disagree with the vasaline because it is a petro chemical product.I would not put it on my own skin, let alone a gp.

She never had a reaction to it and it protected her from urine scald. If she had a reaction to it then I wouldn't have used it. I did a patch test on the skin behind the ear where there is no fur and this is how I knew it would be fine to use on her.

I would also take care that you're sure it's just dry skin and it doesn't have a cause. Fungal infections can often look like dry skin but are easily treated with GG shampoo. In all the time I've kept piggies I've yet to have one with dry skin not caused by something.

Well I belive it is just dry skin it is not red or any thing just dry. I am going to check today and see how he looks.
