I have noticed Pepper has a patch of what looks like dandruff at the top of his back near his back end a few cm above his grease gland.
Is it likely to be from something sinister or just a patch of dry skin?
It is flaky not noticed him scratching more than usual and Pringle doesn’t have anything on him.
Vet trip in order?

Hi!

Just keep an eye on it and if in doubt see the vet.

I don’t think I’d be unduly worried either. I agree with Wiebke - just monitor it and if it gets any worse, then perhaps get him vet checked.

Thanks Vicki! Yes as it’s concentrated to one patch and given his mix of breads I did think it’s just some dry skin, if it starts to spread I’ll book him an appointment.
