I noticed some flaking around my Guinea pigs ear and eye. Is this just dry skin/a scratch from the colder weather or does this look like a fungal infection? Can I put lotion on her ear? Thanks in advance!

It would be very wise to have her checked by a vet in case it is fungal, potentially ringworm and given how highly contagious ringworm is, it’s not something you want left.
Please do not put anything on it until you have seen a vet as it will hide evidence the vef needs to make a diagnosis and thereby risking misdiagnosis, incorrect treatment.

This is the ringworm guide just in case that is what she has - if explains everything including the stringent hygiene which is needed to stop you, other piggies and animals in the house catching it
