My skinny pig has what looks like to be a patch of dry skin on her whiskers. She had a big scab there for a while, I’m not sure if it was from her itching or where she got it. I’ve tried applying virgin coconut oil to it but it always comes back when the oil dries off. It doesn’t hurt her when I touch it.

What is going on, how can I help my piggy, and do I need to take her to see a vet?

Yes please do take her to a vet. It could be a fungal infection that requires treatment.

Took her to the vet. The vets are doing a ringworm assay to see if it’s positive or negative. They gave me some cream to put on it on the meantime. Thanks for the replies everyone!
