dry skin in ear.

Hello everyone, i have had my new baby piggy for a month now and when i got him he had been treated for mites and had some dry skin on his ear, i’ve noticed he still has dry skin inside his ear, i have been advised to get him a treatment of ivermectin and see if that helps, does anyone have any advice? x

i’ve not been to the vet yet as it isn’t really bad, just flakey skin, and he isn’t itching or anything out of the ordinary

We don’t advise you to treat without a vet diagnosis. Over the counter meds will not be strong enough and can make things worse.

Any health issue needs a vet diagnosis and prescription. Please do not treat your piggy with anything until you have seen a vet as you could so easily make things worse/cause a problem.
