Dry feet or something else?

I've noticed recently that Elvis's feet have little white bits on them. From just looking at his feet as he walks it looks like dry skin but closer up I'm not sure if it is just that. There are no scabs or sores and they feel smooth when I touch them and he isn't at all bothered by it. Is it dry skin and I'm just a bit paranoid? It looks the same on both his back feet and I don't know if it's on his front ones. It doesn't look at all severe but I know it hasn't always been there so I went to check he's alright.

Wipe it gently with a damp tissue and see if it comes off. it could simply be from him standing in a slightly chalky fresh pee puddle.

Thank you I hadn't thought of that. I'll try that and tell you how it goes once I've done it

I forgot to update you when I cleaned his feet yesterday so sorry about that.

I'm now pretty sure he had just sat in a chalky wee puddle as the water mark lines have gone. The light dots are still there but on a close inspection as I wiped his paws it looks like they are just slightly speckled since it looks the same colour as some little speckles on his lip which is cute! I think I was slightly over concerned but better safe than sorry I suppose. Thanks for the help
