double posting

I have seen a lot of posts appearing twice in the last couple days.

Any one knows how that happens? It's not happened to me (yet) and apart from bein annoying to read the same post twice, it's not really a problem. I just wanted to alert mods to it.
 
It's happened to me, but I figured it maybe happened because I double clicked

it used to tell you off for double clicking but not double post as a consequence... Weird...
 
oooh that is odd, it didn't tell me off or anything...maybe it's something the mods need to look at since they got the new system?
 
I've just seen this has happened in 2 threads I posted in. I'm really sorry - don't know why it has happened and certain I only clicked to post once. If a mod would like to delete the duplicates I'll check again which threads it happened in?
 
That was a thorough experiment, Lorna. :))

It's double-posted one of my messages a few times, not often though.
 
I didn't get an alert - I was just back in the threads and noticed that the same post I'd made had posted twice.
