Have bought Dotty and her new family home from Suzy at Glynneath GPR. Things have been a bit frought today. After being so calm with her new friends at Glynneath, Dotty has taken to squealing and squeaking like mad each time Hugo (Eugene) and Alice go near her. It's definately worse with Alice, who is only 4 months. I dont think that there is any nipping going on, but Alice is definatley winding Dotty up this afternoon.

They have loads of room and I have plenty of places that they can get away from each other, although I have made sure that they can all see each other.

I realise that I have to try to let it sort itself out on it's own to a certain extent and that the other 2 need to settle down too. Lets hope it is all fine soon, as Dotty's squeaking can be deafening some times!

Yep - sow dating can be a noisy affair, subtitles on the TV are essential!

I hope the transition to a fully bonded trio is a quick one - it can take a couple of weeks to cement the bonds.

Thanks Suzy for that. I think I am probably expecting too much. Dotty just seemed a little bit upset by it all today. Alice only had to go near her and she squealed! I did see Alice bop her a few times today and go up behind her and knock her bum so I do think that Alice knows now how to push Dotty's buttons!

Don't worry, they'll calm down. Amelia shreeked everytime another pig moved to start with even if they weren't anywhere near her! By the morning things had calmed down a lot and a few days later it was like they'd always been together.

It doesn't sound too bad really! Just noisy. Heaps better than the boar glue I have to put up with rolleyes. Hope it all settles soon. Looking forward to pigtures of Dotty and her new family.

One of my girls still likes to squeal very loudly if anyone decides to join her in her hidey, but she will follow the others round the cage nose to bum piggy train endlessly. Right this moment I can hear her complaining that Stanley wants to cuddle :)).

As the others have said I'm sure it'll settle quite quickly, once they've all worked out the new shared environment :)

Hopefully it will all settle very soon. Rosie, my oldest squeals if anyone comes to share the coseys with her ( but this may be because more often than not they've been jumping on top with her in it) and if anyone bottom sniffs she squeals, and she squeals when Tia is in season as she is the slowest target. ;)
