Hi! I just bought a strange looking guinea pig to be my other pig’s friend thinking it was a normal breed but now after some research I have no idea what kind she is. She has very Woolley fur and looks almost like she’s been hit by lightning.

Hi and welcome!

What a little cutie!

Your piggy looks like a Swiss teddy and abyssinian cross. The fur is Swiss teddy but the head form is clearly aby.
You can look up the different ancestries in our breeds guide so you understand better what is going on: https://www.theguineapigforum.co.uk...ig-picture-guide-to-common-pet-breeds.121399/

Please ALWAYS double-check the gender before introducing guinea pigs. Mis-sexing is unfortunately far too common and you don't want to be sorry having to deal with a real mess afterwards as a pretty high percentages of pregnancies and births go horribly wrong. It is by no means just cute little babies. :(
Illustrated Sexing Guide

Please also be aware that you cannot just plonk a new piggy into another piggy's territory; they will be seen as an intruder and will react rather aggressive and unfriendly.
Please always use a neutral place like the ones recommended in our step-by-step bonding guide, which also takes you through all the typical behaviours for each stage of the bonding process. Here is the link to our illustrated guide with lots of pictures and videos: Bonding and Interaction: Illustrated social behaviours and bonding dynamics
