Hey guys, back again lol - this time with a new problem (maybe?) Ekko, my black Guinea pig is bum humping Teemo my brown piggy, this means he's asserting his dominance, yes ? Along with that Ekko popcorn and zooms all over, but if you even move a muscle he runs away and hides as if I were going to attack him. I understand hes a prey animal and all but Teemo doesnt even flinch when I go to scratch my hand or something, he also takes food from my hands and smells my fingers. I'm going to give Ekko more time to get used to me and playtime. But is there anything special I should do to help him trust me? (Fresh Veggies and toys dont seem to work)

Hi! Please try our guinea pig whispering tips and avoid any predatory behaviours. Please be aware that it takes quite a time for some piggies to settle in and gradually turn into a pet; we are talking weeks or even months here, not mere days. Trust is a fragile plant that needs to make deep roots first before it can grow and flourish. ;)
If you want instant tame piggies, you'd best opt for rescue piggies that come from a home environment and are used to human interaction.

The information and tips in these guides will hopefully help you to understand and the illustrated tips will show you how can tell your piggies that you are a friend, want them as part of your herd and that you love them in their own language.
