right I have fleece. It's 100% polyester. I watched it three times in surf washing powder and yet it still won't wick. The water just seems to sit on top and white site through to the mattress protector I have tried the mattress protector both sides up and this doesn't sound the problem so now I have bought some bio washing gel and hope this might be the solution as I read somewhere that bio is better than non bio. I'm also now washing at 60*

Try washing your fleece with bleach and dish detergent. Wash in the hottest water.
You can do multiple rinse if you're worried about bleach.

Someone posted a recipe on YouTube to show how much of each you'll need to use.
