Dog mat as a piggie carpet in a cage?

Hi Piggielovers! I am always looking for improving my piggies life conditions and discovered a dog mat. It is a 2 cm thick piece of sponge covered with a fabrick. I bought it and put it in piggies' cage on friday and so far so good. Does anyone use this kind of thing?
 
No it is not a vetbed. Vetbed is quite fluffy and the fabric that covers the sponge isn't. I don't have a picture at the moment as I bought only one to try it out and in a cage it doesn't look any different as a piece of fabrick but I will try to look for it on google and will post it here hopefully in a moment.
 
I have noticed as well that my piggies do not really poop on this new mat , they go on upper floor to do it. So either they love it or hate it:)
