Doesn't like fresh bedding?

I've been told that you're supposed to spot clean the cage every day and fully clean it every week. Well I have a pretty big cage so when I refill it, it takes a pretty big bag of bedding to refill. I'm gonna go broke soon off bedding alone. >.<" Anyway, whenever I try to clean out the cage my guinea pig HATES it. I've tried taking her out of the cage when I spot clean but she seems to hate that even more (in fact that seems to actually stress her out) but when I leave her there while spot cleaning she sits on the shovel and squeaks at me. Then when the new bedding is in she is frantic for a good 5 minutes before finally relaxing. Is this normal or should I be concerned about something? D:

How do you know she hates it? What bedding are you using? How big is your cage? Is it a C&C? Ever thought of using fleece? It would save you a lot on bedding.

Are you sure she wasn't running laps and popcorning? They do that when they are happy. If you don't know what those look like, search on YouTube.

Nah, she's running laps right now and she seems to be quite happy! Whenever I put in bedding she always kicks it around so she can lay on the bottom of the cage instead of the bedding. I use Carefresh bedding because I heard it was the best. Her cage is not a C&C but it's probably as close as I could get. It's quite a big cage and she's a tiny guinea pig. I don't know. I guess she could be happy but it also seems like she kicks it out of her cage. xP Though I did get her new toys and put down fresh bedding and she seems to be really happy so maybe she was just bored?
