Toby has a gnaw stone but he never really goes near it! I was wondering what I could do to presuade him to take a nibble? His teeth are okay but would be nice to be safe.
I shouldn't worry I've never used one they keep their teeth down naturally by eating grass and hay etc also if this is a mineral stone just bin it guinea pigs raelly don't need them

As long as he eats plenty of hay he should be fine. I had a piggie who had problems with her teeth and used a branch of an apple tree which she used to knaw at. I thought that would be good because of the apple flaour and the tree wasn't sprayed with anything. I'm not saying that it helped but my piggie enjoyed nibbling at it.
