Does vet bed make piggies hotter in the summer?

Just thinking ahead to the summer months as it does get hot in my flat - would the pigs be better off on fleece rather than vet bed over summer? The vet bed always seems to keep them warm and snuggly during the winter, does it keep them cool in the heat or does it just keep them warm?

(I do have ice pods/use tiles to keep them cool)

Opinions please - thanks in advance

Bumpety Bump!

I would think it would make them a little hot, you could always use the ice pod/tile or if its just as easy maybe change to fleece, however i am not sure either way so hopefully someone on here can advise.

Thanks for bumping this up! They seem fine and lie by there ice pods but just thought I'd switch to fleece if it helped to keep them cool...
