i’ve had my female guinea pig for over a week now.
she was doing fine for the first 4 days, then i noticed she was scratching a lot.
we went to the vet with her yesterday, but they said they can’t do a checkup. i told them about what i saw on her fur which was some white smal bugs on the black fur patch on her face.
they tried looking for some , but couldn’t see any, and gave us a treatment to put onto her. they assumed it was lice from what i’ve described. we did the treatment yesterday, and cleaned her cage and took out al her wooden items a disinfected them.
she’s still scratching. and ive noticed that more fur is gone from behind her ears. does this look normal? and does it look like symptoms of lice? i’m not sure what to do .
