Does this look like ring when or just a scab?

All of a sudden, there's two sores. I think they are scabs but not sure. They are also getting to that age where they're being slightly more aggressive and chattering a bit. Around 8-12 months old.

One is on the left kind of where his shoulder/lats in a human are and the other is kind of above his shoulder towards his chin but on the right side.

Please have any wounds seen by a vet.

I’m assuming you have two boys?
Their teens start at 16 weeks of age. There are hormone spikes along the way with a large output at 6 months and another around 9/10 months of age. Teens ending at 15 months of age.

In a functioning pair you see dominance behaviours - mounting, rumbling, chasing- but there won’t be wounds being inflicted.
They should not be being aggressive in a functioning bond.

If their bond is tense and has the potential to be failing through actual aggression (not to be confused with dominance) to the point where fights and injuries are occurring (if the marks are potential fight/bite wounds), then sadly the piggies would most likely need to be permanently separated.

Good luck at the vets. I hope its something easily treatable.

Thanks for you answers, we will check with the vet. It just came all of a sudden really strange. No scratching or anything either.
