Need to wait till end of the month TIL payday but I’m looking into getting this cage for the boys to make their living space bigger. Does the dimensions look good or should I keep looking into it?

I don't think that's quite big enough, 47" is 117.5cm. It almost meets the minimum of 120cm for 2 girls but I think boys need extra space and most folks on the forum recommend a minimum of 140cm length for boys... have you considered a C&C?

I've used two of these for a pair of boars (they're designed for multiple cages to slot together). I could've managed with one but I had a very laid back (with each other) pair of boars and honestly it wouldn't work for most. If you're getting one for a boar pair, then get two.

I would agree that it's too small as it works out to be 117 x 61cm, and would also ask whether you have considered a C&C. If you go down the route of making it yourself it's significantly cheaper. I just made my two boys a 5 x 2 (around 185x 72 cm) with a 1x 2 loft for less than £35. It's a little fiddly getting all the elements together, but think it's definitely worth it. My boys love the additional space.

Midwest cages are ok. I think the bigger the better. C and c cages are the way to go in my opinion. So much cheaper if you make it yourself.

Looks a little bit small for two boars but I'm not sure. It depends on how much outside time they get. Also, I would check if your guinea pigs like ramps. My other guinea pig wouldn't go over a ramp for the life of her... ;)

They're not really ramps like most cages have, they're literally just a hop over...as Comet used to love demonstrating during wee hour zoomies :))
