Does syringe feeding count towards fluid intake for sick guinea pig not eating or drinking on his own?

I currently have a very sick guinea pig. He has an upper respiratory infection and is also being treated for worms. I'm syringe feeding him critical care as he is not eating or drinking on his own. I've also been giving him water via syringe. Only just discovered I'm not giving him nearly enough and urgently need to increase it. Does the water used to make critical care count towards fluid intake. I'm seriously worried about my poor boy. Thank you

I’ve done a lot of syringe feeding, over the years, and I don’t waste time syringing water. It’s more important to get nutrition in. There’s a huge amount of water in syringe food, so no need to give separately.
Thank you. I gave in and phoned the emergency vet and he said the exact same thing.
