Does Swarfega Expire?

I recently bought a 1litre jar of Swarfega original classic from the UK for piggy grease glands. I have to clean Hazelnut's fairly regularly but Peanut Butter is only sporadic. I can see that this jar will last a long time. Does anyone know it it ever expires? My jar has a date 14014/E stamped on it but I don't know what that means.I did email the swarfega company through their website but so far no answer.
 
Hmmm...I really don't know! I also use Swarfega, but I can't see a date anywhere on the tub. There is a little sticker on the lid (which I've only just noticed) that has a picture of an open tub with '12 M' next to it. Could this possibly mean, once open use within 12 months?

I'd be interested to know if anyone else has any ideas...
