Hi, just saw an old post about using washable absorbent bed pads under fleece to line cages. My guinea pigs are living outside at the moment and I am keen to get rid of the saw dust as it's taking over the garden! Was wondering if these pads can be cut to size or whether that would ruin them.

Haha! I use shavings which arr quite messy but not too much. I'm not really sure...sorry!

I have cut my pads and then sewn a new edge with some binding tape. They've worked fine but you will need to sew them.

Thanks flips. Where would I get binding tape? Do they work well? Do you just use the bed pad with fleece on top or what?
