Hi guys, I have hutches with runs underneath, and then runs attached to the front, but what I'm looking for is a little house that you can put in the bottom level of the hutch, just to give them another place to sleep if they want, during the day, or if one wants to get away from the others. I was looking at houses about 45cm X 30cm, which seems great for a little cosy house, but they don't have floors. They'd be ok for summer, if I put some bedding or something so they weren't lying on concrete, but if it rains then the floor underneath will be wet.

So if anyone knows where to get little wooden houses like that, with floors, then please let me know :) I've checked all of zooplus and other websites but no luck. I guess I could just buy the zooplus ones and put in my own floor!

Thanks :)

I actually have the second one in another run for my bunnies :)
It would be too big to fit into the bottom level of the hutch, but I could always put it in the run that's attached to it. The guinea pigs love it because they can go underneath it when I let them in the bunny's run (their run is on the grass, so the guinea pigs get to go in there for a treat).
I'd just prefer to put a little house in the bottom of the hutch because it's more shaded and sheltered, and otherwise they mightn't use that area, because they prefer to be out in the big run :D

I think I might just get little houses and put floors in myself, but still let me know if ye know any good houses :)

You live in Ireland Ciara don't you?
Do you live near a PetMania? They have a few of those little houses in wood and plastic, they do in the Waterford one anyway?

Hehe, I couldn't find one I liked for a reasonable amount of money, so I got them a bucket, cut a whole, and they have an upturned bucket!

For now I got them some recyclded-paper flower pots from Lidl. They don't get wrecked in the rain and there are all different sizes so I could a few for the different piggies, and cut a hole and turned them upside down, and they seem to like them! And they can eat them if they want. :)

If I find any good little wooden houses around though I'll probably buy some, for them to sleep in. :)
