Hi guys, I just bought a little wooden house for my rabbits, but when I saw it I though it'd be too small so I told the guinea pigs they could have it. But then I checked with one of the rabbits, and it was big enough, so the guinea pigs are disappointed!

So I'm thinking about getting them little houses too, and just wondering does anyone have this house? I've seen it in a few photos on here.

I'd get the one for dwarf rabbits, but can anyone tell me is it big enough for a big male pig, or for two smaller females to fit in at the same time, or just for one at a time? Do they use it, is it worth getting? Also how long does it take them to destroy it? Oh and can they climb on top or would they need a ramp?

Thanks :)

I use the plastic mushroom boxes you get in supermarkets. My piggies think they are tortoises and move them around to stay covered while they find the best grass! When they need replacing I just get a new one free!

That's a great idea! My piggies have flower pots turned upside down with holes cut in them (made of recycled paper, I bought them in Lidl) which work great too. But I thought I might get them wooden houses aswell that'd be a bit better, and maybe they'll eat them instead of eating their wooden run!

How weird... I was just looking at those!

I'm going to give them a whirl and hopefully the piggies will like them :) I figure they'll last alot longer that the pigloos and grasshouses they have at the moment.

Let me know if they like it :)

I might get one too anyway, and the other lot of guinea pigs can have the rabbits' one in the autumn, cos the rabbits will need a proper house for their run then anyway. :)

Will do :)

I can't decide between that one or this though..

Or maybe even one of each (Willow doesn't really like to share!)...choices, choices!

I saw that too, but I like the log cabin ones! :) They look nice and they'll have fun chewing all the bark off I bet!

Angus and Mick Dundee have one of these little houses. One is usually inside and the other is usually in a fleecy house on top. They are good. Both these piggies who are quite small, jump on and off with ease. xx

That sounds good, I think I'll get one next time I'm ordering their food and hay on zooplus :)
