After a good year of moaning, pleading and whining by dad is finally giving me one of his 6x4ft sheds. On the provision that non of my animal stuff is stored in his other shed.

I'm now thinking of moving the guineas into the shed for winter but obviously I need to have hay, bedding, food, all my little bits and bobs stored in there as well, so giving them the whole shed isn't an option.

I'm thinking of potentially a 4x2ft triple level hutch (they also have a run which is 7x8ft which they get lots of time in as well!) providing all the measurements work out correctly. Has anyone got/had one of these and how do piggies cope with so many levels? I know alteration to stop them being quite so steep would be essential as well ...

I don't have a triple only a double. It will be interesting how it ends up though:)

I know, just a bit nervous as they've never had ramps and the older two are pretty lazy! Just think it would be best for them in the long run!

We have a triple hutch and they have no problem with the ramps :) Our ramps have been extended to they're a bit longer, but not as steep and they all whizz up and down!

You do lose a little space on the middle floor with the extra ramp, but the extra floor more than makes up for it :)

I have a triple hutch and they seem to love it! the bottom one is a run which they like as it means the get grass even when not in their big run! :) they were in a 2 tier one before and the ramp wasnt quite as steep, and it took them a while to get used to the ramp but they seem to love it now :)

I have double hutch (unfortunately not triple!) and my guineas are fine using ramps. Its true my older one tends to stay on the top floor but does use the ramp, often to raid the second food bowl! I think a 4ft x 2ft triple sounds great, though have you thought about how you will clean it out? Maybe you could make/buy a 4ftx3ft double?:)Hope it goes well, know my dad, he would NEVER give me the shed!
