Have to clean out and change the fleece every other day
I change the hay tray ever day as the soil in it , and do spot clean but the mess is so everywhere I find it easier just to lift the fleece , clean the poopy corners and put in a new one!
I am thinking of changing to fitch to try , as it's the smell mainly !
Love the fleece though , maybe I am just addicted to seeing them popcorning when it's all clean , then they charge round rearranging everything then the poo party starts!

Ahaha yep. Lovely fleece and happy piggies, then a few minutes later it's become a toilet war zone

I changed from fleece to vetbed. It's been worth the expense, I wash it every 3 - 4 days depending on how much run time we've managed in the garden. Doesn't smell as much as fleece although I do still poop pick twice a day as I find fresh poops smell earthy especially if they have been eating grass.
Know what you mean about a clean cage, I love the excitement when they go back in, I deliberately put things back in the 'wrong' place it gets Spike really excited moving everything around, today he decided he wanted to rearrange the ramp, he was pushing and lifting this heavy piece of wood with his head and getting very annoyed when he couldn't move it.
