Hi I just wanted to ask if anyone else has a nero 4 cage for there piggys? I bought the is cage for my piggys last year for them to have more space. They love it and seem to have plenty of room as they are fully grown now. But then reading about c&c cages I thought it was too small or am just being parnoid? I dont really have the space for a c&c cage as my piggy live in our living room and come out every day. They also have a outdoor hutch and run for the summer but always live indoors.
Thanks.

Thanks just wanted to put my mind at ease, as I would love to have a c&c but its not a option. I'm new to owning piggys and wanted them to have a happy life as I rescued them both and do tend to spoil them. :)

AWWW Bless you they have loads of space and a wonderful life. Seriously they are very lucky to have you look after them and spoil them like you do. Think about poor guineas that don't get out of their cage or get missold a small cage.

You're have a great life, honest!

i have a nero 4 and my boys are big boys yet seem to be happy with the space they have,i like the fact the house fits 2 piggies comfortably lying down

I just worry about them and sometimes obsess I think! I just want to let them have a good life as I don't really know the age of one Joey and want him to be happy. I'm sure they both are as they popcorn and love cuddles even though Joey is still quite shy but he knows who his mammy is. Haha.
If I saw lots of Piggy's who didn't have such a nice life I would have no space! As I was devastated when I went to see Joey as he was advertised free in a local paper.

Thanks for the reassurance. x x

ok i probably shouldn be saying this but i have 2 nero 4's and am not happy with them, the difference in the amount of room in these compared to my 2 x 4 C&C cages is quite alot more than i thought here are some for examples

the wooden houses in both are the same size

sorry i couldnt take any shots with piggies to give a better idea but i dont normally take full cage shots with the pigs in them.

It seems i have more things inside the 2 x 4 C&C cages yet the piggies still have lots of room to popcorn and run where as in the nero's no matter how i arrange the bowls and houses they hit there pigloo's when the popcorn and there isnt nearly as much room to run, soon enough I'm replacing mine with C&C cages and donating them to rescue,
i dont think they are horrible at all they are great for a petstore cage but i feel guilty as most of my pigs have huge cages and 2 x pairs dont;)

thats what i dont get...i have a zooplus cage that i brought second hand out of the newspaper, so that i could have them indoors for the winter.some people have said to another member that has one, that they are to small for two piggies. but to me by that picture of a nero four-mine looks bigger than that!or am i wrong? cuz i cant really afford to go and buy a nero four.my piggies get cleaned out everyday and a fresh towel down, and a bowl of cabbage, which they go nuts for!gemx

The nero 4 is almost 4foot in length. I dont put hidy houses in mine so they have more space and my set up is changed in the day/night. As in the night I put in there beds that are the cosies, the cage look smaller on the photo than it actually is.
I think it just depends on people opinions as I know my local rescue centre said a nero 4 is fine and large enough for two so thats put my mind at rest! :)
