Bfore i went on holiday i noticed that Sammy's head was tilted to one side, he was in no obvious pain felt him all over and he snuggled up like he usually does. I came back yesterday and the tilt is still there again but no pain when touched however there does seem a little lump that i hadnt noticed before i can press it squeeze and nothing it doesnt seem to bother him

Does anyone know anythng about strokes in Guinea Pigs ? I read what Peter Gurney said but i want to know more ?

Buttons head was tilted to the side and it turned out to be an eye absess. We thought it could have been a stroke or an ear infection at first. Would be best getting him checked at the vets.

Lolsehis right, best to get Sammy checcked by a vet.

I think it unlikely that he has had a stroke, but you need to rule it out.

There are several reasons for head tilt besides stroke.

ear infection

dental problem

eye infection

Best to get Sammy to a vet asap as he may need an anti biotic.
