yes, I think all types of pets can. they give us a reason to be and their love is so unconditional

Absolutely. Our pigs are emotional support for the whole household. They convert hay into cheerfulness.

Yes, like all pets guinea pigs are great mood boosters.
What we do however have to take into consideration at all times is that we also provide our pets with the emotional and social species needs that they have and that we do not just take it all for ourselves but deny them basic needs of their own, like the right to company of their own kind.
