I have two 1 year old sows, named Igby and Petunia. They have never gotten in fights that drew blood or anything bad, but I am worried. I know not all guinea pigs will be besties and will cuddle, etc. But I do think Petunia grumbles and chases Igby out of multiple hides every day. I know these are dominance behaviours, but she still constantly does them. Again, its not too the point where she doesn't allow Igby to eat - but she does kinda seem like a bully. However, I have also seen very brief ( once or twice) ear licking, and sleeping next to each other, but it is very rare. So, I just want to know if this kinda level of annoyance between them is ok? Or should I be concerned?

Thanks!

Are you monitoring their weights? From what you have posted it does sound like you are overreacting to normal guinea pig behaviours. I would keep an eye on weights in case one is being bullied away from food but otherwise leave them together
