Hey!

I am thinking about investing in a robotic vacuum - one of the iRobot Roomba / Neato range. I was wondering if they would help with hay, and if the hay strands may prove to be too coarse and break the vacuum. Anyone having used them?

I haven't used them but I know Hay jams upright hovers. I have just had to take mine apart to remove hay from the pipes. lol.

Hmm, so I guess it would be a bad idea. Thanks for your input!

I will be buying a robotic vacuum anyway, I like the idea of it cleaning up while I'm away. But I may have to install virtual walls around the piggy cage to make sure it doesn't get clogged with hay.

I have a roomba. I don't think it would be a good idea. I thought about it also but I would be really concerned it would break it. Just the way the particles go inside. Not worth the risk, since they are so expensive.
